StoryForge Terms of Use
Effective September 14, 2026
Who these terms are for
StoryForge is published by DigitalForge. These terms are an agreement between DigitalForge and you, the parent or guardian who created the account. Children use the app only under an account that a parent has set up and consented to. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the StoryForge Privacy Policy.
Your account
You sign in with an Apple or Google account. You are responsible for the account, for the parent PIN, and for the child profiles you create under it. Keep the PIN private: everything that changes the account — purchases, consent, deletion — is behind it.
What the app does
The app turns a child’s drawing into an illustrated, narrated storybook using automated services. Stories are generated by software, not written or reviewed by a person. We check drawings and character descriptions for safety before a story is made, and a drawing or description that does not pass is not turned into a story. Generated stories may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or not to your taste; you can make another.
Your content
Drawings, story ideas and character descriptions belong to you and your child. You give DigitalForge permission to process them, and to pass them to the services named in the Privacy Policy, only to make and store your stories. The stories, illustrations and narration made for you are yours to keep, share and export for personal, non-commercial use.
Subscriptions
The free plan includes a limited number of stories each month. StoryForge Premium raises that limit and is sold as an auto-renewing subscription of 1 month or 1 year through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the store’s own currency before you buy.
Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the same price unless you cancel before the period ends; on the App Store, a renewal can be charged up to 24 hours before the period ends, so cancel at least 24 hours in advance. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules.
If a subscription lapses, the account returns to the free plan. Stories beyond the free plan’s limit are kept for a 30-day grace period and then removed.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to make or store content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for children, and do not try to get around the safety checks. Do not attempt to reverse engineer the app, interfere with the services behind it, or use it for anything other than personal, family use. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account from the Parent Zone (Privacy & Data → Delete account), which permanently removes your stories and data. We may end or change the service with reasonable notice; if we end it, we will give you the chance to export your stories first.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, DigitalForge is not liable for indirect losses, for content generated by the automated services, or for interruptions outside its control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is shown in the app. Questions: contact DigitalForge through the contact details on digitalforge.mx.
